- Why should you sponsor a participant?
You are making a valuable difference to someone's life. Funds raised through the Step Up for MS go towards supporting people with MS living in Western Australia.
- Where does the money go?
Every dollar raised goes to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Western Australia (MSWA). MSWA provides support and care to the thousands of West Australians living with MS.
- How do I enter?
You can enter online – it's the quickest and easiest way!
- How much does the event cost?
Adults: $45 ($50 for postal entries) Juniors: (12-16) $35 ($40 for postal entries) MS Members: $35 MS Junior Members: $25 - What do I get for my registration fee?
- Step Up for MS Kit, including Race Bib and timing chip (ankle strap)
- State of the art online fundraising tools that are easy to use
- Live entertainment
- Massage service (pre- and post-climb)
- Water and fruit at the finish
- Lots of dedicated volunteers who will cheer you on and can help you on the day
- Can I enter on the day?
Yes, but you will need to be at the registration table (in the Central Park forecourt) at 7:00am, so that you can complete an entry form and so that we can allocate you a race bib number and timer. The best way to enter is prior to the event, online.

- Where will the event take place?
The events starts in the Central Park forecourt, and finishes on the top of the building, with a breath-taking view over Perth!
- How long will the event take from start to finish?
That depends on your fitness and experience levels. For more experienced and fitter runners, they may be able to complete the course in less than 10 minutes; others may take 30 minutes.
- What are the event cut-off times?
You can enter up to the day of the event, and even on the morning, but the best way to enter, is online. MAKE SURE you get to the event in plenty of time to pick your pack up!
- When should I get there?
Registration opens at 7am, and can be very busy. If you are one of the first starts (ie. 8-8:15am), you should get there a minimum of half an hour prior to your start time.
- Where do I leave my bags/clothing?
We suggest that you take only what you need – water, a jacket for after the climb, and a small amount of food. If you bring extra items, we can look after them in our cloaking area. All care will be taken but we accept no responsibility for lost or damaged items.
- What happens if I can't complete the climb?
We will have lots of volunteers along the way, at every 5 floors, who will be ready and happy to provide help to anyone who may feel ill or experience other difficulties. If you cannot complete the climb, they will assist you in finding your way to the bottom floor using the lifts.
